Miner & Equipment Tracking and Tagging

Delta Electric, Inc. has established a business relationship with one of the leading providers of miner and equipment tracking software and equipment - Matrix Design Group.  The Matrix solution was designed specifically for the mining industry and have systems currently in operation in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Mexico. The METS (Miner and Equipment Tracking System) has MSHA approval for its tags as well as West Virginia approval for installation.

MSHA approved Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tags
transmit an identifying signal to Readers located at strategic
points throughout a mine. Readers transmit the location
information to systems with monitors for displaying the
information in map and table formats.
